I work for a large utility company in Michigan and were told we are a federal contractor and have to comply with the death jab EO. Rally to come next week but there is alot of us that need help, union not doing a thing for them either- as expected.

Any new developments on this?
Can state AG's file with federal courts to do this collectively at the federal level?
Arent there many many many other orivate lawsuits and some class action lawsuits cooking too?
The freeze doesn't apply to us. A bunch of stages AG have files but no court rulings yet. People don't realize this will effect power outages being restored and gas leaks being fixed. 10 days of darkness may come if the lineman don't have jobs so there's no one to fix things.
So they are enforcing a mandate because your a federal contractor... But not allowing you a stay due to pending federal judicial review?
Not a lot of news on that front.
Too quiet IMO.
Well maybe it's time to elect a new leader or start a new union? But whatever you do don't get jabbed!
Step 1. Read the EO. https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/09/14/2021-19924/ensuring-adequate-covid-safety-protocols-for-federal-contractors
Step 2. Read New Task Force Guidance. https://govcon.mofo.com/labor-employment/new-task-force-guidance-signals-some-flexibility-for-contractors/
Tell them you can’t find the approved one. This is the noncompliance compliance move.
The approved dose isn’t available which is the comirnaty one. And remind them that EUA ones are voluntary per Law. Even the EO says “exceptions as provided by law” or something to that effect.
They are trying to trick people into taking it basically
I told my management, they are definitely not aware of this ‘legally distinct’ issue with the 2 Pfizer jabs.
Pfizer has millions of EUA doses they are trying to pawn off on everyone which they have no liability for. And with FDA regulations they can’t just reliable them as the approved version they have to use under the EUA letter or dispose of.
