I was always taught that the standard flu vaccines involved injecting a killed or weakened form of the influenza virus in order to prime one's immune system for the next time they encounter that strain of virus. And so feeling ill is to be expected.
That too. the immediate days after the shot they are run down. But. what I mentioned above is my friends catching the Flu a month or so after getting their shot, and becoming very sick. in bed for days.
But, doctors will insist that anecdotal stories are just not true... I spoke with my doc and at first he said this and I responded that the vaccines often miss the target, thus unnecessary and he agreed.. TBS, when he asked me if I were going to get the jab, When I said NO, he was taken aback.. I explained I got the rona in Jan 2020.. I didn't think I would have to mention natural immunity..
I used to get the flu shot ever year as a child up through the age 17. I used to get the flu about once every two years. It’s been over fifteen years since I’ve had the flu shot, and I’ve since never had the flu. People tell me that it’s because I’m not in school, which may be true, but to me it’s coincidental enough to make me skeptical, and never get the shot again
This is also true, school is a petri dish and kids are sponges in more ways than one. My friend is a preschool teacher, and she was always getting sick. But now her immune system is badass and she never gets sick. She can lick doorknobs and be fine. haha
both can be true. The seasonal flu has existed as long as the human race... and ...Many people getting flu shots end up getting the flu. (Maybe it was not properly inactivated in the vaccine?)
Well I actually know somebody that works with the patent office. And we were discussing the vaccine a little while ago and he brought up the flu shot.
And why you told me was this there are a whole bunch of shots approved for the flu and a whole bunch of different types of flu.
Every year the who or CDC I'm not sure which approved three vaccines to be used for that year and it's Hit or Miss whether or not you get the vaccine that's out there for the flu that's going around or if it's a vaccine for another flu.
And it's not even guaranteed that the three that they chose are for the flu that's going around it's all guesswork.
The flu shot combines multiple flu strains into single vaccine based on what they "predict" will be most likely strains in circulation. I don't have any solid proof of this but I've hypothesized this creates the environment that produces new strains of flu virus through the process of antigenic shift
Copy and pasted definition
Antigenic shift is the process by which two or more different strains of a virus, or strains of two or more different viruses, combine to form a new subtype having a mixture of the surface antigens of the two or more original strains. The term is often applied specifically to influenza, as that is the best-known example, but the process is also known to occur with other viruses, such as visna virus in sheep.[1] Antigenic shift is a specific case of reassortment or viral shift that confers a phenotypic change.
When I was growing up, there were almost no shots, other than Polio and Measles and a bunch of others. Then, all of a sudden they get the chicken pox vaccine, then HPV vaccine, then the seasonal flu. It made no sense. These viruses killed almost nobody. The flu made even less sense because it mutated every year and by the time you received it it would hardly protect you because the virus would've already been out in the wild long enough to mutate fast enough. This was well accepted thought and almost no one took them.
Now everything changed in 2020, because they fixed the numbers to count every other death as a covid death, including seasonal flu deaths.
A Data Point:
The people I know that get yearly Flu shots, often catch the Flu.
The people I know, including myself that never get Flu shots, never catch the Flu.
I have heard others say the same.
Maybe there is something to this... Maybe the shot weakens your immune system while adjusting to the injection, then the Flu is able to infect. Maybe.

Oh I see. Yes that does sound troublesome.

Well, if that’s the case glad I never took their flu shots.
I am one of those people. Stopped getting the shot a long time ago, and now never get sick.
Can confirm: I got the flu the one time I took a flu shot. Never took it again and never again did I get the flu. That was 20 yrs ago.

I have heard this similar story from many others.
15-20 years ago when I was trying to have the family, house and dog thing, I was always getting sick. Kids coming home with something every damn day.
Since I gave up on that idea and decided that I do not like kids. I'm not around kids as much anymore.i haven't been sick in 15-20 years.
Kids and schools are prime germ breeding grounds.

Now stick that in your hat and smoke it LOL.

Smoke a bowl for me, dude.
I have that same thought! The medical establishment’s credibility is being destroyed. No one will go along after this is exposed.

Try to track down the earliest uses of “flu season”
It wasn’t referenced until after 1917
