The older they get, the more this happens...
My Frenchie/Boston mix is really a loud snorer, my Shiba Inu not so much....
Take is as a compliment, a pup only snores when they are totally relaxed and in a deep sleep...
Where we howl 1, we howl all....

Aren't smooshed noses, as with bulldogs, known for snoring? That said, I've had some cats that snored, too, and they weren't Persian, so they didn't have smooshed noses to blame it on.
"Smooshed nosed" pups are absolutely prone to snoring....
...that said, I have had Collie Dogs that were very loud snorers too...
Go figure....
I think it goes back to just being really relaxed, comfortable and most importantly, secure in their surroundings...
...I would ascribe this theory to Kitty Cats also...winks....

Security is also demonstrated by sleeping belly up, and I love seeing my kitties do that.
