LEMME GET THIS STRAIGHT: when Jr was dropped at age three, that experience of changing names from JR to nothing is called dying?

So JFK Jr is not alive because he’s now just JFK. And we call that name change death.

Language doesn’t work that way. So if I’m now not a Jr because my dad died, you’d answer the person I was as a junior is not alive? But I’m alive as a senior. Not alive as a junior. I changed my last name when I got married. My maiden name self is “no longer alive”
