This is Riccardo Bosi, former Australian special forces officer and current leader of the Australia One political party.

While I agree with him, it is not a statement from "the Australian military".

Great question. My take on this is that he's pushing for general strikes, particularly by those in the supply chain, which are most effective during the holidays given the high travel and shipping volumes. And that something will change politically after that due to the pressure from the strikes. Not that something will change militarily (since he is no longer in any sort of chain of command within Australia's military).

So, basically just doing what politicians do. Most of us here on GAW just happen to align with his politics.
