I love your enthusiasm and Im guessing your post will be more well liked than my comment--nothing ever, ever, ever in the word of God would even suggest enjoying the show of watching evil and wickedness be so rampant. I agree life is easier walking in the Spirit and yielding to God in faith, complete reliance on everything, every outcome. I too need His grace, and praise God with you.
But please, this is false to suggest there is any possible way to enjoy witnessing evildoers, lawlessness, and deception arising.
Certainly there is always the lament that so many would be deceived and go astray to the degree that they have. I consider many times “every one of these people that have gone the wrong way were once innocent babies - children.
What happened in their lives to turn them so far from lovers of life (vs lovers of death). That in itself is a supreme tragedy.
I think OP’s angle is more “I enjoy watching God route(-ing) the long seated evil and the prospect of things ‘getting back to normal (or even better)’ in his will” than “I enjoy evildoers get their just due”.
Though if you consider it, the Bible says “no tears in heaven”. That may be considered as “evildoers had their chance to repent, but in the end got the justice that waits for all sinners because they didn’t.”
I agree but you're not rambling. The best movies are when the villains put away their evildoing and become heroes...or return to being a hero once more. The best way for our enemies to die is for them to die to their old selves.
