I keep reading how freemasons are evil and do horrible things. Yet I grew up with masons. I'm not evil, nor do I do horrible things. So, being new, and open minded. I would like to have a civilized discussion about the freemasons! And remember. I come from family members whom are passed now, but, were. Masons. I'm open to here. Thank you.

Curious, at what point is spitting on the cross is associated with the oaths? Thanks
It's not a litteral thing. It was just an example. One I think I got from the book Behold A Pale Horse, when discussing this topic.
I thought I heard it before but wasn't sure where. I started listen to Bill Cooper last spring, haven't since. I need to finish the series.
I have read that spitting on a crucifix is the initiation for the 33rd degree. There’s a scene in House of Cards where Kevin Spacey gives some long speech to the camera (probably encoded) and then spits on a crucifix in a church, looks at the camera, and smiles knowingly. Probably masons winking to each other through their propaganda.
