"You think anyone wants a roundhouse kick while I'm wearing these babies!?'
😂😂 I need to re-watch that film. REX QUAN DO! Lmfao that always gets me!
And oh snap Colorado huh? That used to be central hub music festival territory pre covid with Red Rocks Amphitheater.
I was dead set on going until this vaccine passports bs became a thing. Maybe someday fate will have it that I end up back in your neck of the woods. Until then I suppose you'll have to settle for being my digital anon crush 🤭🤭😂☺
Lol this is so lame but I totally didn't catch what ROU is supposed to stand for 🤤😂 I don't get to use the brainless drooling emoji so carpe diem I'm seizing the day ha.
But your mention of seeing tool and being on the 7th row.. if you're referring to their show back not too long ago in like 2016-2018, I totally had a friend who's also from Colorado who was at that set and I remember specifically how much she was ranting and raving about how outstanding Tool's performance was that day.
And are you asking me what were my favorite shows that I've been to so far? Or what shows I would love to see at Red Rocks?
There are definitely countless sets I would love to see there but if I had to name one band it would undoubtedly be the Red Hot Chili Peppers 😎 I freaking used to worship that band. Anthony Kiedis is my fucking boy haha.
I think his voice is absolutely darling lol! And combined with John Frusciante on lead guitar, the two create some mesmerizing melodies. And I usually have a huge preference for female vocalists so RHCP is definitely one of my main exceptions.
I would've killed to have been able to see them at a place as cool as Red Rocks haha. Aside for a few exceptions of mainstream Rock bands though, I used to be pretty big into Electronic Dance Music and House music. I was definitely something of a raver haha. Kandi Kids for lyf yo.
Some of my favorite artists who's sets I DID get to see were bands like DJ Tiesto, Bassnectar, Kaskade, Deadmau5, Griz, The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris, Flux Pavillion, Avicii, Ellie Goulding, and Krewella to name a few off the top of my head.
Man you're making me reminisce and think back to my musical obsession days. I used to always, always have a pair of headphones in my ears and music was like a drug in and of itself haha. I think that's a big component of why I found it so easy to spiral out with mind altering substances for those few years.
Drugs just complimented my auditory addiction far too well for my already addictive personality to simply overlook and brush off. Once I find something special, I have a tendency to want to keep it forever--even if it's just the memory of how it made me feel :) sounds so cheesy I know 😄
