Beverly Eckert was on the phone with her husband, Sean Rooney when he died as the South Tower collapsed on 9/11/2011.

She forfeited the 1.8 million dollar payout to push for a more through investigation of 9/11.

In 2009, she met with President Obama at the White House to ask for a new investigation. She was killed in a plane crash 6 days after meeting with Obama.
