Clarification:

The primary reason I go to her is for my Hashimoto's thyroid condition. She writes me a script for Synthroid for that.

And, when my cholesterol started rising (its a familial thing), she suggested a statin drug. That's where the Crestor comes in.

BTW, Crestor does not affect blood pressure - it is a statin drug and reduces cholesterol only.
