TikTok isn't the problem. Its retarded parents allowing exploitation of their children that is the problem. "well we can't stop them, they're going to do what they want".. Then again, this is the finger pointing they want.. So actually, its becoming convenient to blame a phone app and "kids" for security threats. This just opens more doors for false flags and easier ways to cover up for them
I don't think it went away as much as we think, its just a LOT more noticeable especially in public spaces. We are progressively spoiled as generations go on, but the increasing amount of stress and having to work more often because the dollar you earn is toilet paper at this point takes away from that parental aspect that is essential to a child's growth.. I get it in a way. But in a way I don't either, because morals and guidance are the most crucial thing for children.
I know. I see really good parents too and they're doing a great job despite being pulled in 12 different directions. But there seems to be more who apparently do no parenting at all.

Yeah, what happened to "Stay off TikTok or I take the phone, the computer away for a month. Do it again and I take them away for a year."
Go into any store nowadays and listen for the screaming, never told no kids.

There's definitely a much bigger gap between responsibility and carelessness more than there ever was
