Yea, they really kinda did. He single-handedly put computers in every school in the US- even in rural areas, was largely responsible for computers in most homes. He made it affordable for anyone who wanted one to get one. That was 90’s-00’s. People thought he was great for that. (Not cult worship like Musk, though)

It wasn’t til about the middle of the 00’s did it start coming out about his Frankenstein medicine he wanted to push on the world- and the harm he had been causing with medicine since the 90’s.
