News outlets regularly do pet stories because they have wide viewer appeal. Think Hallmark Christmas movies - they almost always have a dog somewhere to emotionally hook a larger audiece. I honestly think this is just a story about a very probable occurace, that a large protective dog breed is in a leaderless environment and is acting out to assert its dominance in a stressful environment. For the record, Fox news is still compromised. 😁
