The CGG are "highlighted" because the shape of the letters and the resolution causes the red to be thinner and therefore makes it appear lighter because of the ratio of white to red.

CGG means nothing.

Perhaps, but the Rs have curves and they don't appear to differ from the other letters the way that the Cs and Gs do.

The R has a straight portion which would not be affected by pixel width and resolution.
