Avg pay in The South for workers including slaves was higher than that of the workers in the north. Husband was a history major at USC (the old, original one.) He learned while reading the original documents there in Columbia that yes, we’ve been lied to about the War of Northern Aggression. The truth is there in the many preserved documents.
