Wrong.
Mocking is a powerful form of persuasion.
Peer pressure actually serves a useful purpose sometimes, when someone is mocked into acting properly in a social setting.
Side note: this is also why the left can't meme. You can't be mocked into taking bizarre social positions that everyone has a gut feeling are wrong.
From the start of masking, way-back…I made it a point to “point and laugh” since shaming IS EFFECTIVE. I got a lotta blowback for it (here). Like everything, it all turns-around, eh?
Do as you wish, fren. I'm just answering the What Would Jesus Do? question that everyone else seems to be disregarding. I'm not judging anyone directly. I'm obviously pointing out the egotistical mindset though.
Jesus also beat down the money changers after personally crafting a whip by hand.
Look, I'm fully aware of that also. But, Jesus wasn't slam-dunking "i ToLd U sO" on His brothers. That's why it is entirely different to me.

Yeah well it's a pretty fucking big "I told you so" is when you die without accepting him out of lack of faith, you get cast out for eternity.
Pharisees tried to give Jesus a hard time over healing someone on the sabbath. Jesus mocked them.
“And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day? And they could not answer him again to these things.“
The Jesus I know and love, He mad.
You don't think Jesus mocked wrongdoers in a social setting?
Really?
What denomination teaches that?
You don't think the apostles told people they were doing anything wrong, because that would mean they are "judging them"?
Really?
I think you're confused, you're conflating "telling people their actions are wrong" (which is what much of the New Testament is about), with the final judgement of their souls.
I perceive you are a concern troll.
If you have to make-up something someone said in order to have an opinion on that thing, your opinion is probably bad.
