Maybe this is a good thing. We should push back and amend the 1st Amendment where there is "tolerance" of other religions but the official state religion should be that which acknowledges Jesus Christ as Lord.
lol look a "patriot" defends removing freedom when it lines up with their opinions about how things should be
get outta here with that RINO shit
I agree Christianity should be the religion of our and any great nation.
But don't fuck with my 1st amendment and definitely don't tell me it's in the name of God because the whole FUCKING POINT of the 1st amendment addresses the problem of even Christians generally disagreeing with each other over what is the righteous way.
If you want to throw in something about God given rights or how we hold God above all, I'm KINDA fine with that.
But the 1st amendment serves a Christian purpose as is.
It is OUR responsibility as Christians to bring the Lord to others.
It is NOT our job to make the state do it for us. Or make them "help" AT ALL for that matter.
I think you misunderstood. The founding fathers were almost all theistic. They decided the ensure the state and church are separate but American values are BASED almost entirely off the Christian faith, and we all need to acknowledge and respect that today. The state itself needs God.
This is EXACTLY what "the separation of church and State" addresses. This bill violates the Constitution and the 1st Amendment!

Leave the state OUT of religion.
Be a God-fearing man and bring God TO the state.
