Obviously nothing else important is happening today because we could use another maxwell verdict thread.
Everyone who started a new one without any insight that diverges from the 2009 identical threads should be shamed.

Hahahaha, relax people are going to do this every time big news breaks.
It's right there in the board rules:
Keep post duplication (especially from other .WINs) to a minimum.
How hard is it to glance down the page and see if there are, oh, say, 15 other posts about what you want to post, some dating an hour before yours?
I disagree. It's no hardship at all to scroll down and see what has been posted. And this wasn't a few posts, numerous posters took over and buried anything else being posted, essentially making the big news story into spam. And stickies are the proper place for one important, big news or important info post to be easy to find. Finally, the rules, which are apparently ignored, clearly say to keep duplicate posts to a minimum.
Someone posted a site showing how viewership of this site has plummeted in the past few weeks and I do mean nosedived. It's things like this that help chase people away.
I know that's why I think bad faith
Has to be. Surely they're not that lazy or stupid.
Thus MY Maxwell thread, what are they covering?
It's particularly ridiculous that some are bannering their posts as BREAKING NEWS!! It's not breaking when you're posting something an hour after the first post. Besides, breaking news doesn't mean "this is really big and hot news that just happened, pant, pant, pant." It means it's a story that's happening as a newspaper goes to press or a newscast (back when they weren't 24 hour) was occurring and which is still developing so the story is incomplete and look for updates when possible. Yes, broadcast and cable news misuse this all the time.
Who would have thought pharisee theatre for simpletons would trigger so much dopamine salivating?
I didn't upvote because this was just another verdict speculation with no divergent insight.
