Stay healthy, my Friends.
My father lost a 10 year battle with cancer this year at age 79. He was very wealthy. Over 3 million dollars of insurance was spent on treatments and surgeries over that period.
He never complained once, but I knew he was suffering. He was one tough SOB and still got up every day at 4am and worked his very successful business.
Not sure if it was the Vax that finished him off, but all I'm left with is questions.
My genetic testing was in 2003. My aggressive form of breast cancer was considered unusual because I was young.
What kind did you have? I was diagnosed in August with invasive lobular carcinoma, had DMX and just had my radical hysterectomy as mine isfedby hormones. I have zero risk factors, minimal family history (maternal gma died of breast cancer in 1971). No chemo, did radiation, and they are hoping to do abemaciclib to prevent recurrence. I hope you are doing well.
I had Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma. Stage III. BRCA1+. I had 6 months chemo, 5 or 6 weeks radiation. Had a complete hysterectomy. Paternal great aunt died of Breast cancer. That was the extent of my family hx. 2 out of 3 sisters tested positive with BRCA1. One also got cancer, the other did prophylactic bilateral mastectomy and ovaries. removed. Yes I am. I hope you are feeling well.
Doing well. God is good. He gave us a good team and really great docs at St Luke's in KC even though I traveled 10 hours each way to see them.
