I guess I am clueless - this is what search found - https://www.cinemablend.com/news/2569630/2022-new-movie-release-dates-full-schedule-of-all-the-upcoming-movies.
would love to know what I am missing

If you go to the actual theater websites though after January 6 the only movie being shown is 355. Try to buy a ticket for example for January 7 for any of these new releases and you will see what people mean.
