While I don't believe in the dinosaurs themselves, I do believe the comet that allegedly killed the dinosaurs happened and that is what triggered the last cataclysm that set humanity back, wiped almost all life from north America, and disrupted civilization.

I also believe there is more to the black plague and the time before, during, and after it than we are told.
