I do not trust any politician...
At this point, all Dems are DS, and all Republicans are DS RINOS until proven otherwise.
There's a few Republicans standing up for the people, but very few.
There may be a few politicians who have been blackmailed by death threats, and operating in fear. It would be good to know who they are, and weed most of them out (I would give some consideration their situation - i.e. young family - and watch them closely).
If we look at the constitutional requirements for political office, I would argue that the founding fathers took into consideration potential threats and moral weaknesses. There is a minimum age limit for a reason - they expected those running for office would have had their families (few young kids, since they were likely to marry earlier in life), and be well enough established in their communities that the people would know who they are voting for.
You shouldn’t fully trust anyone but god. Even I have let myself down before.
