I don’t care for the phrase “Trust the Science” as it wreaks of religious zealousness.

Science is a methodology.

In a scientific experiment, you either reject the null hypothesis, or fail to reject the null hypothesis.

Not one (true) scientist will ever write “…this proves…”.

Trusting science should only ever mean trusting the scientific method. The humans who practice it are fallible.
