Every so often i try and start a discussion bc anons are supposed to be the avant garde of free thinking humanity.
Always within minutes it's buried by reiterated links to 3 day old tiresome tedious bullshit. Can we filter out Link posts? There's always a cascade of sliding NPC shit
There is definitely a design problem with this board
that would be a good feature! personally, I just block everyone posting memes and reposts, so my feed stays pretty relevant, but thats kind of rude lol
I tried to make a post about the McDonalds and their connections to the brotherhood of the snake but nobody cared :(
It seems like people are here for the memes and T_D type stuff tbh.
Too much upkeep for me
This is not the site for research (it should be, but it’s not). 8kun’s Q research forum seems to be much more focused on research.
Or deporting a post itself rather than the user. That way if there are doubles people can deport the doubles and if a user keeps seeming to post doubles they are muted for a time or a warning telling them to read the board before posting
I personally blame the point system, everyone always tries to squeeze more points out by re posting
Use the hide feature a lot because it happened several times a day with several posters posting the exact same topics over and over. The sad part is these spam posters are always stickied too.
Yeah but that does nothing to clear up the feed an hour later when it's 4828182 new covid articles or some lame Don Jr tweet
Oh I know. I spend more time scrolling than anything else.
Awesome - I'd love to be able to 'x' out a post that is irrelevant to anything within our interests. I still read most of the posts but it'd be nice to not see them again in my 'timeline' after it serves its usefulness to me.
You can click on "hide" for that post.
whoaaaaa .. how have I never seen this option before ???
THANK YOU .. it cleans up the data quite a bit
I love how none of the people responding even think to hang out in New or Rising but want to complain about the front page where they exclusively hang out. Unless of course it's their own post in New that doesn't get any attention.
This is a great idea. Personally, while browsing new, when I come across a long OC post that mentally tell myself I should read it later. However later there is no way to remember it or go and look for it.
Probably the simplest option is to add a "Text Post" filter to the current filter list.
You can save posts and even organize them into custom folders.
