I've watched many of his videos but can't remember his name for the life of me. He claims he witnessed the Battle of Los Angeles as a child while digging holes in his yard with his brother.

You must mean William Thompkins. He was recruited by the US Navy for his model making of Navy warships that were so detailed the Navy removed them from display and interviewed him to see if this was a clever comms of classified info. He then claimed that his best ideas designing ships for the US Navy Secret Space Program came from women who were not from this world who managed to find a way to work with him in government and at think tanks. His book is a ripper.
This is the interviews I was looking for. It's titled in another language. That's probably why I couldn't find it.

Commenting so I find out too
J. Allen Hynek? Stanton Friedman? Robert Dean?
I think his last name is Wood or something similar. I know the guys you are referring to. It's not them.
There is a Bob Wood (Robert M. Wood officially)

Thank you so much! The guy I was looking for was actually the other old guy in the interview with him. His name is William Tompkins.

As a side note, Stan Friedman actually worked for Bob Wood.
C. Scott Littleton was a kid at the time, dunno how old, 12 maybe. He went on to become an anthropology professor fascinated by UFOs. Don't think he ever worked for the gubmint tho.
