Hat tip to u/ImGumbyDammit for this post, video of the 'underwater volcano eruption'.
As the fine commentary suggests, something doesn't look right.
One of the people to lose their life (in fact, the only one at time of writing this) in the following tsunami was Angela Glover (Brighton, UK), swept away while trying to secure her charity rescue 'dogs':

Angela was one of a group of people who ran TAWS, Tonga Animal Welfare Society.

Site only made in 2020, looks to be skeleton staff and very few contacts and 'friends'.
So, where have we seen animal (dog) charity rescue folks in trouble before?
Anyone remember Pen Farthing / NOWZAD from Afghanistan? This was the culmination:
Accusations of saving 'dogs' over refugees. Surely comms.
This one could of course be nothing, but a couple of inescapable similarities stood out, and if the 'volcano eruption' was induced it could add intrigue to the situation.
Over to you frens.
Excellent work. Also the Tonga "explosion" is suspicious. It's supposed to be the biggest eruption in 30 years, but it seems like the volcano exploded and then just kind of calmed down after. Tonga should still be choked with smoke and ash spewing into the air. Volcanic eruptions can still keep spewing for months after.
Thanks, SS.
Did you see the video that's floating around about the white object coming out of the sky and landing in the water, then a second or two later you see the explosion? It was an aerial shot.
Someone made the valid observation that volcanos don't just suddenly erupt. There is generally some earth trembling and other signs that a volcano is becoming active. It seems as though the Tonga "volcano" came out of nowhere.
Bigger than even that is that volcanoes continue erupting for months after a big eruption. Remember when that volcano in Iceland erupted? It choked the skies with ash for months. They had to re-route.
You see pics of Tonga and its clear skies. The Tonga eruption in the ocean is supposed to be the biggest one in 30 years, but it's hardly spewing anything now. That makes no sense. An eruption that big should still be fuming.
Also many scientists admitted that undersea volcanic eruptions only cause tsunamis 5% of the time (scientist code speak for "THEY DON'T MAKE TSUNAMIS". But this one tsunamis that spread out across the whole pacific.
Also Tonga only had one case of covid. Many islands were flattened but they don't want any aid workers coming there not even to airdrop stuff. They want only "contactless" aid. Aka don't meet or talk to the locals.
Tonga has glossy websites for tourism but no actually developed infrastructure for tourists. Few tourists actually ever go there. There are 170 islands, but only 30 are inhabited. The population is 105,000 and 70% live on only one island.
Remember the comms with the oily Tonga guy who appears every Olympics. But last Olympics he had a "competitor" for the oily man role. Media doesn't make a big deal of "tonga" guy unless he is a comm for something.
Look at all the photos they are showing of Tonga and its wreckage. Clear skies.
you don't get a giant eruption and then the volcano shuts up and goes back to sleep. It should still be erupting.
I think there was some kind of massive explosion and they are covering it up. This happened just hours before Trump's big speech on 1/15. All communication to Tonga was cut by the "eruption" yet somehow a brother was able to communicate in detail how his British sister "Angela Glover" died trying to save dogs.
They were sending a rushed comm. Something went wrong.
I don't think what happened was meant for Tonga.
I have a "guilty pleasure" website that I keep tabs on. Most of the time it's just a pure hit of hopium, with very little meaningful substance behind it, but every now and then it scores a hit. Yesterday was one of those days. If you weed through some of the fluff at the beginning, there's some interesting observations on Tonga. I can't vouch for any of it, but it would be worth a further dig:

Interesting stuff:
Tonga looked to me like some set off a nuke and covered it up as a volcanic eruption.
