Some raise in ranks because they have leadership qualities - people like the two speakers on this vid, rise in rank because they will do and say whatever they are told to.
It's real easy to rise up the ranks if you're a good leader. At least up to E-7 in the Enlisted Ranks, and 0-4 in the Officer Ranks. Past those, by nature of the ranks/positions, it becomes almost impossible to continue unless you become a "yes man," to an extent.
I've served under some outstanding officers and senior enlisted, most belowE-7/8 O-4, a couple above, bit hardly any among the Flag Officer ranks, O-6 and above.
It would shock most of you here to know just how many "yes men" there really are. Some say it's the politics of being a senior leader. I disagree. It's not politics, per se, but the ability of [them] to spot who will be willing to compromise themselves in various ways just for a little bit of power/prestige.
NO ONE makes it to the Flag ranks without compromising themselves in some way or fashion. NO ONE. Not even Flynn, Rodgers, and all the others people think are squeaky clean patriots.
We are going to have to come to terms with the fact that the indoctrination has reached EVERY corner of our society, including those we've long trusted. ALL may not be our be on our side. I use John Fing. Kerry as an example for myself. Trusted organizations are just as divided as we are.
Any court martial prosecutor has the easiest case they ever took in their life, tabling this video as evidence of treason in the command structure of the armed forces.
Gathering to petition for redress of grievances is not 'extreme', it has been the foundation of the nation for hundreds of years. All of which the miltary swore to defend and uphold.
So who is the extremist, hundreds of millions of citizens and soldiers for hundreds of years, or this handful of oath-breakers now?

Like smoking weed then? The more you suck the higher you get.

This is sickening, I couldn't even watch all of it.
