It is curious. Is it the protests that are forcing them to back down?

I don't believe for one second it has anything to do with the ridiculous 'number of cases' numbers.

At the same time, Austria just make the vaccination mandatory. Not to just in order to work or travel. They passed a law in their legislature to make it absolutely mandatory. Which means LEOs coming to your door if you don't get the jab.
