It is sort of true - with the exception of cities that forced public employees to take it.
For example, NYC "requires" a vaccine to go to a restaurant/bar/ballgame/etc.
If it is ever proven that the vaccines never worked or injured you, I can very easily see city and state officials saying "Hey - no one forced you to take it. You chose to be vaccinated in order to go to a restaurant."
This is not true. People were made to take it with the full force of the law turned on them.
