For most adults of avg size it is about 1/3 to 1/2 tube daily as it is 18.7 mg/g of paste and there are 6g of paste per tube. Alternatively you can take the injectable formulation orally. You can find the “human” tablets or powder for compounding at some pharmacies, but it’s more expensive and harder to find right now.
The COPD and immunocompromised state make it imperative that he gets something soon. Steroids are the treatment for COPD, and not sure why he is immunocompromised, but they will further add to that problem.
Also if it is taking time to get the meds, buy quinine, the root compound for Hydroxychloroquine (hence the -quine at the end). You can get it on Amazon and have it overnight shipped.
