The median income in the US is $52,168, average tax rate for median income is 13.29% = $6933 + with the 7% inflation for the last year $3651 (inflation tax) = $10,584 of income lost (stolen)

My bet is the IRS was not hiring IRS agents, but an army. They have quite a weapons depot over there thanks to Obama.
