I've started watching the earthquakes around the world, using an app called Earthquake Alert. I'm amazed at how many quakes in the high 3 to low 5 Richter Scale range occur at that depth. Did I read here that the DUMBs are at that depth? Also, all the quakes around Tonga are at that depth. Interesting?

The machines they use to dig tunnels are quite secretive. There’s one called Alice and I’ve read of them being able to meld the walls of the tunnel as they dig.
How long they’ve had the technology or advanced the technology is we don’t know.
Some will say that at 10km deep you would be cooked alive. Maybe.
The deepest depths of ocean are 30km down. There is no evidence I’ve seen that identifies the ocean floor as a hot bed.
In the same way that an altimeter measures height above the surface maybe there is a system for burrowing at a consistent level of 10km below surface level. Maybe, this is an optimum level associated with a secretive tunnelling project.
Hate using the word maybe, but given the secretive nature of the DS what else can you do?
I think the deepest part of the Marinas Trench in the Pacific is around 11km.
