His music sucks anyway. His voice sounds like a dying cow.

I have a feeling many of these celebs weren’t made “celebs” because of talent. Especially music.

PhDinNY 15 points ago +15 / -0

I think most of the Doors songs are funny. It's like they just thought of words that rhymed, regardless of whether they made sense.

Riders on the storm .

Riders on the storm .

Riders on the storm (paraphrasing, of course :) )

I love The Doors.

2

Bro, Riders on the Storm is fire. Morrison is the son of a glowie so besides all the weird occult shit some of the music is still good.

Like Jim Morrison maybe....?. The whole military families thing.

10
John_Murdock 10 points ago +10 / -0

Heard about the connection between Jim and the military outpost in Laurel Canyon. Lots of kids of military back then around the area were celebritized, likely part of Monarch/MKULTRA. That Abramovich associated pedo creep Jared Leto with his "MARS" cult now owns that military base.

7
GuerroRanchero 7 points ago +7 / -0

I heard somewhere that there was a room at the record plants for satanic rituals to ensure success.. would never have believed that back in the day, but now with all the stuff coming out about these sick fucks, I wouldn't doubt it

David Crosby

3
moodyblue 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don’t remember where I read about it. He was murdered. His dad was high up in the military. They covered it up as drug overdose. I like the music, but I wasn’t around or remember the stuff behind the scenes. I was a kid in the 70s. It’s not something I listen to all the time. I know it when I hear it.

I love his music my dude. We all have different tastes so I respect your comment. I wont' downvote you.

2
moodyblue 2 points ago +2 / -0

Oh we could get along. I believe we are all different and music speaks to each of us differently. Many times a song can take me back to where I was when I first heard it. Other songs is the people I was around. There’s some music I don’t get but someone does. My husband doesn’t like Zeppelin & I listen to that alone. I hated AC/DC now I know after 30 years with him I know every word. He thinks I’m crazy because I finish the words to old songs on commercials🤣

2
moodyblue 2 points ago +2 / -0

Is he the one that’s been talking about Julian Assange. About six months ago I watched an interview (someone with Pink Floyd). He was taking up for Assange, saying he was innocent. I don’t know the PF band members. I only know a few songs from the 80s, my high school years.

2
Hakencruze1 2 points ago +2 / -0

They made some awesome music they are all still around except Rick Wright who died early 2000’s, Gilmore, Mason and Wright kept it going through the 80’s and 90’s after splitting with Waters and did tours before reuniting with Waters. Their best album in my opinion was ‘wish you were here’ though their record breaking sales was ‘Dark side of the Moon’

These people are controlled.

3
wideawakeuk 3 points ago +3 / -0

A pleasure fren! As I say, I make no assertions on him, but it could be all misdirection- just mentioned in another comment he sold half his back catalogue for 150 million. What with the Trump tiff and his current comments, he could have taken his payday and then trashed their investment nicely..

2
ashlanddog 2 points ago +2 / -0

...he is a hell of a player...

...we don't share the same political philosophies....

3
wideawakeuk 3 points ago +3 / -0

Same, though looking past politics I wonder if this is deliberate, he sold half of his back catalogue to Merck Mercuriadis at Hipgnosis for 150 million, then decides to trash himself in the eyes of many fans. A stitch up on the buyer? Take your money, sell your rights, trash yourself. Beautiful if true.

8
CasuallyObservant 8 points ago +8 / -0

He got paid $100,000,000.00 (that's 100 million dollars) by Spotify for the rights to his music. Is he giving the money back?

7
Trumpternal 7 points ago +7 / -0

This is the same faggot who cried like a little bitch, because some small record store was selling bootlegs of his shitty albums.

3
eel003 3 points ago +3 / -0

Recognize when he sold his library he got his and he doesn't care anymore he has made as much as he ever will off his music going forward.

He'd have to unretire and cut a new album.

3
PhDinNY 3 points ago +3 / -0

I can't believe the amount these people are getting for their libraries of music! I just don't see how whoever buys it is going to make anywhere near what they paid back. Most of the artists are only listened to because of nostalgia, so I don't see new listeners being generated in numbers that could bring in the profit they would need.

1
FiatLux 1 point ago +1 / -0

moodyblue 1 point ago +1 / -0

I won’t talk about him for that arrangement. All streaming services should pay the artist for their music. It’s not any different than paying a service for audiobooks, movie theaters, books, etc. If you buy the music or movie someone is getting paid. Look at all the records, books, movies, et that are sold daily over the years. My family pays for a family Spotify membership. I have music available 24/7 on my own account. I don’t have to listen to what the radio decides I should listen to & the commercials. I’ll admit it’s not for everyone. It works for us. Also you can get a free Spotify account. You just can’t make playlist.

Gonna get flamed. But here goes Don't like his politics at all but the man is a musical genius He wrote four dead in ohio days after it happened then came out w "chicago" (though your brothers bond and gagged and they tied him to a chair won't you please go to Chicago Protest songs for a generation

5
SvixGale 5 points ago +5 / -0

Good point.

I don't hate on those who do otherwise, but I can (mostly - definitely with some exceptions) - still occasionally watch movies / listen to music with artists who I totally disagree politically.

First is; I haven't paid for movies / music in a long, long time, so I'm not supporting them financially. That's the big part.

Next; I literally look at them as my own personal, singing, dancing monkeys, who exist purely to entertain me at my whim.

Thanks to all the ways to stream & manipulate media these days, I can call up a movie for as long (or as little) as I want, watch the monkeys dance, then put them back in their box.

That's all they are to me; singing & dancing monkeys; nothing more.

And I'll bet you a shit ton of money that opinion bothers them a hell of a lot more than people wanting / trying to cancel them, because deep down, they know it's true.

I literally could not care any less than I do what their little opinions, views, or beliefs are. I don't turn to pedowood for inspiration, morality, life lessons / guidance, etc.

Never have. Not about to start now.

People give these assclowns WAY too much attention and take them way too seriously.

Dance, you ugly fucking monkey, dance.

And keep your mouth shut unless it's on the script.

2
Rardog900 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ok I'm behind on news, didn't know what Neil just did I will say the one good thing about this plandemic is it has shone a light on everyone Thier true selves bubbled to the surface. Apparently like this the whole time just needed a big event to come out Makes it easier to spot

1
SvixGale 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, seriously!!!

It's almost like the plandemic was itself part of the Great Awakening!!!

I've said that before that; sure it sucks to lose friends & family, but you know what?

If it wasn't this that did it, it would have been the next big event.

People's true colors come out in times of fear, stress, frustration, etc.

This plandemic is about as great a test of a person as I could imagine....

At least now we know pretty much exactly where everyone stands as a human; whether they are themselves JBT's / tin pot dictators; whether they gleefully lick the boots of tyrants, or if they stand on the side of basic human freedom, liberty, decency, and dignity.

And now we get to rebuild new, BETTER relationships with people who we KNOW are alike us in the most critical ways.

I mean; lots of people here are also into guns, prepping, etc.

Do you really, honestly think that your family + friends would have acted any differently in any other actual SHTF situation?

I mean; I dunno about you, but I think that a pandemic pretty damn well qualifies as a “SHTF event“.

Do you really think your family / friends would’ve acted ANY differently if we had china invade us, an EMP detonate, a serious and complete financial collapse worse than the great depression - which may well still be coming but that’s a whole other thread - do you really think they would’ve done differently?

I really don’t think so. Look at it this way - this was a test run with a mild cold vs a REAL disease like smallpox - so in some ways, they almost did us a favor.

2
deleted 2 points ago +2 / -0
1
SvixGale 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, that could well be..... Either way; I could not possibly care less what these monkeys say.

Sure, it irritates me when retards like alyssa milano & other pedo-wood types pop off, but again; I don't get that worked up about it.

2
PhDinNY 2 points ago +2 / -0

And as far as some in the past have gotten with little talent, what is amazing is that you now have people like the Kardashians, with no discernible talent making millions for nothing more than being famous.

Indeed. Pedowood really is crazy.....totally insane....

2
NYC_4_Trump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Start your own music collection, put it on a thumb drive, and take it wherever you go.

Seriously, used CDs are $1-2 on ebay or Goodwill.

Added bonus: you don't have to deal with a music provider "removing" an artist from your playlist bc of a contract dispute.

2
Lqngtimelistener 2 points ago +2 / -0

Here's the why, for me. https://www.rt.com/news/513966-spotify-monitor-emotions-patent-creepy/

Use what instead? I listen to free library audiobooks on the libby app. Right now I'm halfway thru Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover. I borrow fiction, too. I also listen to some podcasts and educational youtube channels. (John Taylor Gatto FTW.) I buy local bands' music on bandcamp sometimes. Much of my own personal great awakening has been a realization that 90%+ of the music i used to love is written by devil worshippers. I want to break any support to that. And I'd rather spend commuting time learning or being inspired by new ideas and good stories. I used to consume a lot of music entertainment, now I see it as a waste of time, potentially harmful.

2
NYC_4_Trump 2 points ago +2 / -0

I also noticed that my taste in music changed. I used to listen to it all the time, and buy new CDs a few times per month.

Then I woke up one day and new music was just awful. I still listen to some of my old stuff here and there - if for nothing else than the nostalgia. But I have shifted completely to old music. Like Big Band old music, sprinkling in some 60s/70s singer/songwriter stuff, and country from that era.

Why? I guess it is because new music got poisoned just like new movies and new tv.

1
moodyblue 1 point ago +1 / -0

Old music is much better! They had to work for everything. It wasn’t handed to them. Just like old school Nascar racing. Those guys came up dirt poor from nothing. It’s probably the same with any talent today they have money thrown at their feet. Look at Elvis Presley and those guys that came through Sun Records they didn’t have labels passing out money.
