I would agree that "Some people's memories aren't worth crap." and also some people can be swayed to misremember things.
Everyone has always told me I have a phenomenal memory, even when I was a little child. I mention things to friends that happened when we were kids and they say "How the heck do you remember everything in such detail." I just have a really good memory and recall, no big deal. I am sure I misremember things here and there.
Mandela, Skippy, Jif, Jiffy, to me; none of those are trippy. But there are some changes that can not be misremembering. I worked for Hasbro as a contracted electronics engineer and 3d designer for many years, I have worked on so many toys and games, mostly taking older toys/games and making them hitech in some way, adding sounds, etc. The point is Monopoly guy absolutely had a monocle and Loony Tunes was always Loony Toons, no doubt about it. I had made a 3d render of Monopoly guy in 2002 for one of their PC games, and Hasbro kept returning it, making me refine the monocle to make it look more fancy, metal and not plastic. They finally approved it after repeated do overs. Now, the artwork and even my own files have NO monocle.
There are so many other things I can point out that can not be simple misremembering, I won't waste your time though. There is something I watched a lot, but I was not alive when it happened so my memory could be faulty due to propaganda. The assassination of JFK is a big one that needs more research, there is no way there were 6 people in that car, 2 of them women wearing almost the same outfit. The original car had 2 rows of seats, not 3 like is shown now. I have the original LIFE magazine that came out that week and in it has a picture of the car (2 rows of seats) in the garage after the incident (empty) and it is the original we all remember. Oddly the tiny caption reads something along the lines of "This is not the actual car JFK died in, it is a representation of the car and is being used for forensic study" Why in the heck would they use this HUGE photo as the centerfold if it were not the actual car, and why would they do forensic study on a car with a different amount of seats. It makes no sense at all.
Kennedy's car had fold down jump seats on the back of the front seats. If just the two Kennedys were riding, the seats were folded up and not easily visible. If two more people rode with them, such as Gov. Connelly and his wife, then the seats were folded down.
The Life photo was just an illustration for the magazine article. It wasn't even the correct color. The actual car was evidence and unavailable for their photography. I didn't see anything in the article about the magazine car being checked for evidence, just the one Kennedy was shot in. Yes, I saw the magazine, with the roses thrown in for dramatic effect. We've always had what would be called now fake news. I remember seeing an article in an 1800s era newspaper complaining about fake news back then.
Mr. Peanut had a monocle, but not the Monopoly man. In the very first games, the man was different and was winking his right eye, but still no monocle.
I was around when Kennedy was shot. My class had a TV brought in so we could watch the funeral on Monday.
I remember everything I wish to, although I remember a lot of numbers that have no use now, such as the phone number to a taxi company from 1959 and the combination to a safe where I worked almost 50 years ago (vacant lot now).
So in summary, the Kennedy car did have the Connelly's riding with them (I saw them), and Monopoly man never had a monocle, from 1935 on up at least to the one I had in the 1960s. I have Aspergers. It's almost impossible for me to lie, and I live in "Realsville," as Rush called it.
I would not say that you are lying, only that you are originally from THIS reality where these things are true. Us others are obviously from a different reality (that was maybe destroyed) or multiple different realities and our consciousness and spirits quantum leaped here and merged with this body. There are way too many people with the same memories of these things for it to merely be misremembered on a mass scale. All of them ARE NOT LYING either. I bet they would pass lie detector tests. And Monopoly guy had a monocle, where I am from, there is ZERO chance that Hasbro would of payed me the extra hours to get the monocle just right, if it didn't exist. It does not matter if Mr. Peanut had a monocle, or anyone else,.. that's disingenuous diversion or gaslighting even. We all know what we saw and how odd it looks now.
There's only one reality. Perhaps Hasbro just wanted the Monopoly guy to look different from the original Parker Bros. version for some odd reason. It was only about 30 years ago that Hasbro bought Monopoly. So for most of Monopoly's history, Hasbro had nothing to do with it. But I never saw Monopoly guy in a monocle in the stores. So if you did a design, they may have shitcanned it. Whatever you did, it has zero to do with what the Monopoly guy looked like from the 1930s up to the early 2000s.
Nothing I can say will prove anything to you, especially if you do not understand diverging realities... You have also made up your mind on this and will do everything to keep your reality making sense to you. You can not prove that there is only one reality. You can not even actually prove to me that you exist in this reality or that you exist at all. You are also wrong about a great many other things, even though you believe yourself to be right. The monopoly guy is only one small example, there is so much more but you know what? You are not worth it. I do not have time for you, because you will try to come up with a rational explanation for every single irrational mandela effect.
