Awareness is key, waking up the world and saying no is necessary so I'm condoning the convoy. Im just a little worried about our friends up there, Canadians know how to live rough so probably not as bad as if it was new york. If anything this should be a signal to double check your stock. Stay safe my frens.

People have been told over and over again to stock up. If they didnt listen nothing we can do. I am in Canada and I can go a long time without too much worry. Even if they shut our power off we have propane, generators, woodstoves many things that we can survive.
Even grocery stores were hinting for people to stock up. I’ve never seen canned meats on sale months in a row (I had never seen weeks in a row). Canned meats (and other stuff) here have been on sale for 6-8months
Smart move, Stay safe. I think this could be a signal to the rest of us. I know you wild folks are knit into the land. God bless stay safe
what if they listened but couldn't afford all the stuff.
because i could only afford some of the stuff. i mean im not canadian. But it could be coming to a theater near you anywhere at this point. And if it comes here im only sort of ready because i straight up can't afford shit. im putting all my kids through private school ffs.
I think itll be fine for most people, in the sense that if you look at the convoy, people are coming together to make it all work out.
I only worry about people getting whatever medicines they need. You can't just go into a pharmacy and tell em "I want 6 months worth of my meds for... reasons."
Even on that, I'm thinking if truckers are all in this together, then that means their logistics support is probably helping as well. And if they are, hopefully they have some say in prioritizing certain deliveries over others, and it won't get too too ugly.
Grew up in hurricane country— unless you’re an idiot you have 2-3 weeks—same even in Texas same in Arkansas or Canada— should be same everywhere— stuff happens
We're stocked up for ourselves, plus friends and family. Because we went to all the trouble of prepping, it's almost certain that none of it will be needed. That's just how things tend to go for me.
Wish all you brothers and sisters the best of luck. LETS GOOOOO
kek. for me, nothing happens when I'm around. I go on vacation and a bridge falls down. I go to the bookstore, and as I'm getting into my car to leave, the bookstore's restaurant caught on fire. I went grocery shopping and when I came back my roommates had gotten in a huge blowout and decided to divorce. I leave my buddy's house and ten minutes after I leave, buddy's brother climbs in a stolen sportscar in a speedo and a leapord print fur coat and gets in a car crash down the road. Always when I'm gone.
You're uninvited to my home. Actually, come on over, it's been pretty boring.
The Canadians understand that there is a greater good at stake ! They are willing to sacrifice stocked shelves and convenience for this greater good! They understand that there is no turning back! They are heros and the world is watching and being inspired ! God bless them and God bless those that will follow suit !
Amen!
Conflict in my home over stocking supplies. Hubby is totally opposed and thinks it’s terrible and a waste of money. I disagree. So I have a hidden stock of canned goods and dry goods to keep us going for a while. And I have enough toiletries, cleaning supplies, supplements/meds, etc to last several months as well. I hate to go against him but I’m determined to take care of my family and those around us if needed. I don’t have a lot but I’m ready.
I’ve Been warning my extended family but they think I’ve become a crazy far right conspiracy theorist. Not much I can do there. Just encouraging people as Im able to be wise and have some supplies stocked.

Oh no!! Oh that's horrible... praying for you fren. I love how you just sneak off your emergency supplies bit by bit... sounds like what you need is a good hiding spot. I know someone who used to bury coolers in the dirt, and just lightly cover them with dirt and leaves, and put his food in there. Kept the critters away from it, and kept things cool in the winter.
Thank you for your prayers. That really means a lot! We have a cabinet above our fridge that we never use. There has been nothing in it since we moved into our home 7 years ago. 🤣 It’s now full of backup supplies. No one will ever look there but it’ll be a huge help if and when the time comes. 💜🙏
heeheeheeeeee..... he has no idea how lucky he is <3 <3 <3
🤣🤣🤣💜💜💜 Heck yes!!!
You will be the hero of the household if it comes to it. I hope it doesnt but your playing it smart!
Thanks! Trying to be wise. The kids may not like the canned food but we will be well rounded and nourished. That’s what matters.
It's not a waste if it's non-perishable and will be eaten anyways. It just seems like a waste if you do it all in one or two goes because it can be expensive, especially right now.
I've always thought of it as food-insurance. We insure our cars, our homes, etc, and hope we never have to use it. So I'd rather overspend on food and not have to depend on it than not have it in my arsenal. Also, if you buy today, you save on inflating prices and the lowering of the value of the dollar. The corn I bought years ago for 33 cents a can is now what, well over a dollar a can?
I've made some mistakes. Like buying tomato-product in a can and having them burst and leak in my pantry. Lesson: buy acid items in glass jars. Things like choosing foods that don't go rancid: oats, white rice, coconut oil vs. items that do go rancid: peanut butter (so have some but don't go crazy), nuts (freeze if possible), and brown rice. But I'd rather have to throw some food out that was stored too long and went bad then to ever be in the position where we could have used it, but didn't have it.
Ooh good tips. I have tomato products in my secret storage space. I need to do something about that.
My family lives white rice and I have several huge bags of it. That will serve us well and should keep well. I have some oats and coconut oil. Maybe should get a bit more of the oil.
Never thought of freezing nuts Either. Good tip! Thank you for all the great input!!
I know people like that. It was usually the wives against stocking up. I told hubby to show what an item costed when they bought it and how much it costs now (here tomato soup was 50 cents, now $2.50). So saving money.
I prepped since 08 and my friends who thought I was crazy started calling me asking for toilet paper.
If you plan well you just buy 1 or 2 extra cans of tuna, spam, whatever you use and it doesnt hurt.
If you are religious remember one of the horseman is famine.
I'm ready to eat all that freeze dried starchy processed food for months if I have to. But I'm not looking forward to the public mayhem that will ensue if I need to.
Praying for you all.
a steady diet of ramen and potato flakes could make anyone cranky.
The major cites are full of immigrants. The ones I knew in Montreal are not going to be ready for this, or even see the need. It is going to be painful.
A false-flag could be in holding supplies, then declaring that transportation MUST be federalized 'for the good of the people'
It could be! At this stage i have confidence many are aware of the games. Always be vigilant. We gave them an inch and they took our rights.
Good! Stay safe!
Ew .
That would solve all the problems at the same time lol.
