No. I'm an RN. My decoding skills are limited to observation of small and usually insignificant details.
When you code, you take a large, usually complicated, problem and you break it down into a series of smaller steps. When you look at the individual steps, it becomes much less complicated.
This is how I approach comms. Instead of trying to solve the whole comm all at once, I take a sentence, break it down into its most important elements, and analyze them. Then I go to the next sentence that appears to have comms in it and do the same thing. I don't worry about the big picture until I've gone through all of the individual pieces. Once you're done looking at all of the pieces, then go back and see if you can identify a common thread running through them. Use the common thread to go back and build the final interpretation.
After you've done this, you can always go out and try to find other articles that will back up your interpretation. Supersempra is really good at this.
oh that's a great idea. I get super overwhelmed with all of the details and then the whole thing just gets messy. I'll try it next time!
