Has the Canadian Parliament passed the Federal Emergencies Act?
It's my understanding that they haven't voted on it yet... and until they do, it is not enforceable.
I read that in the parliamentary debates over it, the MPs were mostly opposed.
The truckers are blowing their horns right now in defiance of this morning's leaflets and I don't see any enforcement against them.
Question is, what's the threshold of votes required to engage the emergency act? Is it enacted when the support is more than 50%? 60%? 70%?
You don't think pigs care about the law do you ? A good cop will, the pigs won't.
There is a live streamer standing in front of the Parliament building who is talking to some of the MPs as they come and go for lunch. (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNIrFw0HGs5xd8qZHD1Ex6g)
Their main message to him is: "We've heard their message and it's time for them to go now. It's a shame that it's come to having to pass emergency measures. We wish it would end peacefully but... (it probably won't)."
