The county normally sends out its covid policy for the next week every Friday. And last Friday they said the mask mandates and quarantining if you had symptoms all remained in effect for this week. Out of the blue on Wednesday morning, they lifted the mask mandate. 24 hours later, we all got an administrative order from the Court directing that all prior covid orders are hereby rescinded. I don't know what went on behind the scenes to get to this, but I am free!!

Sounds like someone took them to court and the judge agreed - open ended removal of Constitutional rights are not justified under public health emergencies with vague and specious claims.
It was literally an hour apart, but the 2nd was after hours so it wasn't seen until this morning. The original mask lifting memo said that supervisors and dept heads could still enforce things at their discretion. Huh? That's what prompted an actual court order.
