It's Klaus Schwab, who no doubt is behind it. Not that there isn't enough oil. The notion of 'fossil fuel' being a limited resource is to convince people to pay more. Petroleum reserves replenish themselves from pressure and forces with in the earth. Petroleum never cam from dinosaurs. I remember reading the Russians were so amazed at Westerners believing this fairy tale, they'd laugh at us. They were taught in school the geological science and it was demonstrated and shown how petroleum was formed in the earth.
Abiotic creation of oil and natural gas (combined with vast tracts of biological matter mostly from plants and yes, surely a few dinosaurs) is a believable theory to me. The question is: how QUICKLY does this process work?
Geological actions mostly occur on geological timeframes. That would be why oil fields diminish when oil is extracted from them, and why those now-near-empty oil fields DON'T fill back up in just a few years.
Oil demand is still growing by ~1mbd every year, and no central scenarios that we recently assessed see oil demand peaking before 2040
81% of world liquids production is already in decline (excluding future redevelopments)
In our view a sensible range for average decline rate on post-peak production is 5-7%, equivalent to around 3-4.5mbd of lost production every year
By 2040, this means the world could need to replace over 4 times the current crude oil output of Saudi Arabia (>40mbd), just to keep output flat
Small oilfields typically decline twice as fast as large fields, and the global supply mix relies increasingly on small fields: the typical new oilfield size has fallen from 500-1,000mb 40 years ago to only 75mb this decade
New discoveries are limited: last year the exploration success rate hit a record low of 5%, and the average discovery size was 24mbbls
US tight oil has been a growth area and we expect to see a strong recovery, but at 4.6mbd currently it represents only 5% of global supply
Well, I don't remember when they first started squawking about fake global warming, but this has been the fake excuse for the supposed necessity of zero carbon emissions by 2050. When I started reading that one, my reaction was "These people are insane," and that was before fake Covid popped up, which revealed their insanity to the world. Some people think we are actually headed for global cooling, which would make an engineered fuel shortage even worse. They are gonna try to kill us one way or another, aren't they? That's the translation of "reduce your carbon footprint." They believe we have no right to be here because we are using up "their" resources. "Die, you useless eaters, die!" seems to be the Bill Gates mantra. After you, Bill, after you.
Ha! Artificially running out perhaps.
...that is more or less what the author is implying....

...that a fact, Jack....
More people have died in Ted Kennedy's car than in a US nuclear accident.
