I don't think they were actually putting bogus labels on the vials. I think they were just changing the information in the computer system to indicate that they were given Comirnaty when they were actually given the BioNtech EUA version.
They were called out on it after someone noticed and they went back into the system and changed them back to say BioNtech.
As far as I know, no one in the U.S. has been administered Comirnaty product. According the the CDC, there are no vials of it available in the United States.
