The Eastern Orthodox religion was handed down/established after the apostles of Christ and is the oldest Christian religion in the world... Predating catholicism by many centuries... This includes the Greek Orthodox church which is older still...

Ukraine was the Capitol of Russia from 842 to 1243... I believe it's also where the Russian Orthodox church began... The Ukrainian government has reneged on several treaties they made with Russia and they've used Russia as a cudgel to get what they want from the west... Stalin I think it was that created Ukraine during his regime... Ukraine has killed many ethnic Russians in the outlying parts of their country as well... Ukraine as a state emerged during the period of communist rule, starting with Lenin,. (who added Novorossiya to Ukraine), Joseph Stalin who (added Western regions of Ukraine), and, finally, Khrushchev (Crimea).I believe khrushchev added Crimea as a kinda gift,..when he retired,..because if memory serves me correct ,..he was Ukrainian,...
