Using Joe as the fall guy for everything that was already planned to happen just makes it that much more enjoyable.

Watching people in Trump’s inner circle, like Don Jr. living large, appearing to be having a great time, and shit-posting hilarious memes, gives the impression that they know we’ve already won.
