I guess you dont know any real narcissists/psychopaths.

The most important thing in their world is making YOU believe they are happy/powerful, because that's a form of control over you.

Dont expect normal psychological behavior from insane people.

Instead think of this, why IS he openly building another mansion when he JUST built one? Compensating for something? Feeling weak and vulnerable?
