I have to get a PCR test for a trip with family. I don't think they can do at home tests so i have to go somewhere. Ugh. How do i get around this or keep myself safe? Are these tests better now or safer I'm worried. I've read so much on here, I had one when I was pregnant and I was ok. What if something happens this time!? I need ease of mind really.

Whatever entity is demanding a "PCR" test, needs to provide their request in writing, to you. Because the PCR was removed from the CDC list of approved tests due to problems with the test. True. But it wouldn't surprise me at all if the "new and improved PCR" tests are later found to be faulty as well.
You don’t HAVE to do anything.
The PCR test was removed and the new test will not be available for a couple of months. Not sure how to get around that but even the CDC website showed in Dec that the current test was being removed because of so many false positives.
Fall Of The Cabal series just did an episode on the nasal swabs (if you plan to get swabbed up ya nose, I wouldn’t watch it).

Take ivermectin for a few days. It should take care of anything in your system. Make sure to find out how many cycles they use in testing for cv. If overc20 go someplace else so you don't get a false positive
Several people in my family traveled recently and required a PCR test.
A local doctor's office provides drive-up service.
They charge to insurance (no copay) and they simply come out to the car, take a nose swab (inserted no more than 1" into the nose), do the same test that you can buy at Walgreens or CVS... record the results and hand you the paperwork in about 15 minutes. No mess, no hassle, no appointments needed. This was on the North-east side of Houston near Kingwood.
Maybe you can find a local doctor office with drive up testing. It's worth a quick internet search to see.

it's not possible yet to know the effects of the test you had when you were pregnant because the nanomaterials and chemical toxins on some of the swabs can take years to manifest problems. Just because you didn't have nosebleeds or obvious symptoms during your pregnancy doesn't mean it didn't harm you.
There is no safe way to do a deep nasal swab and this is doubly true if 'they' provide the swab. I know some people who are given 'quick tests' to do at home and their companies use an honor system to report the results. That can be safe so long as you use a regular old supermarket q-tip and only take mucous from the opening of your nostrils. But no way I'd let a nurse jab a Big Pharma swab way up there close to the cribriform plate.
There’s a spit test, that’s non invasive. Not sure where you can find them though.
