Rising prices for oil and gas mean higher prices to charge the Tesla vehicles.

Increasing oil and gas export from the United States would mean lower gas prices, and less incentive for higher tesla prices.

He is advocating for actions that will lower the gas prices, not raise them.

exactly. his bullshit: "obviously this would negatively affect Tesla" ...

shows he really thinks people are that stupid. and reveals his business model plays on that stupidity. he sells them virtue, not more "environmental" cars.
