Why the fuck do they keep pushing Gen X further and further back. It was people born in the 80s and now they are trying to push it to the 70s. These idiots are not happy unless everyone is labeled.

Gen-Xer here. The Gen-X (or Baby-Buster) generation covers the time immediately after the Baby Boom ended in 1964. There's some debate on when the time period ends, but most sources consider Gen-Xers born between 1965 and 1980-ish:
