Good for you. It sounds like you overcame a lot of obstacles and NEVER gave Up. That is a blessing for you. I myself could not understand the KJV and like you, I listened and learned most of the Bible by church and others; along with some TV evangelist. I was given an English Standard Version of the Bible that I simply tucked away somewhere, when I felt God telling me that I had read many books in my life, but I had yet to read his.

I remember telling the Lord that I could not understand the KJV. Then it was as if a bell went off and God said, "Go find the ESV Bible that was given to you." I opened it up and realized it was more to my understanding. I started reading from Genesis and now I will be on Hebrews tomorrow. Doesn't God work in mysterious ways. If he had not led me to the ESV Bible, I would probably never read it. I feel so blessed now that I can say I read all of God's word. As you will to. Bless you my friend.
