OK...so, I'm old, but I remember news reports from back in the early 70's postulating this very thing about the increase in radio waves, back then it was CB radios, and more AM/FM stations. Anyway, my point is that they've been studying this for 20 years, and we're still getting opinions from fringe researchers hawking products?
Even if you're not in the middle, you'd still be getting hit with the EM waves with it in your house where you can access the router. But it doesn't really matter, because even if you turn off the router you're still getting hit with cell phone frequencies, which are essentially the same as WiFi frequencies. These frequencies are not harmful or ionizing waves. You're getting hit with waves of neutrinos all the time as billions fly through you every second in waves as well, but they don't do anything either. There's no reason to be worried or scared over WiFi, and the extra steps you're taking make no difference but to make yourself feel better about the whole situation.

VERY nice take, with 50+ years into ubiquitous radio waves there should be some solid science by now.
