Putin doesn't care about The Americas at all. He isn't really interested in our part of the world.
He's trying build a coalition between Russia, China and India (possibly Iran too). They are going to break away from other associations, form their own currency (or use the Ruble) and basically become a new "Russian Union" a la, the European Union. Either as part of this, or afterwards, I wouldn't be surprised if many of the old Soviet States don't rejoin this new Russian Federation.
Now, the formation of this is going to spark Europe to start arming up and strengthening the European Union. There's going to be more consolidation of power and I even believe that there will be some merging of nations such as Austria and Germany. They're going to stop relying on the US and England for defense and start spending hundreds of billions to re-arm themselves.
I think that within the next 5-10 years the US could slip from the top world power to the third. Especially since we've outsourced all of our native industry to the rest of the world and build practically nothing here anymore.
5-10 years? More like 5-10 months.
His care is that the globohomos keep trying to fuck with Russia. An ex-KGB agent would now what's happening. America is losing it's standing because most Americans don't even understand what has kept the country on top. Do you understand the Petro-dollar? Trade of Oil happens in US dollars, requiring all countries to buy US dollars and hold them in reserve. This flowed on to other trade as well. As a result, the US dollar became the defacto world currency. Look into it if you don't understand this already.
Not only do I understand the petro dollar completely, but it's literally central to my post, so I don't know how you missed it. Russia, China and India (and probably others) are going to pull away from all other associations (which includes the petro dollar) form their own currency, form their own military alliance and their own trade alliances and agreements.
With that kind of leverage, they can go back to Saudi and other countries and say "Nah, we're not using the US Dollar anymore. Deal with it." What's Saudi gonna do, tell China with 1.4 billion population and India with 1.3 billion population and combined billions of oil product consumers... nope we won't sell to you because a country with a population of 330 million that's trying to transition it's driving population to electric vehicles told us not to?
The Petro dollar is going down the toilet and $5 a gallon gas is going to look cheap by comparison when real hyper-inflation starts.
