Jesus said he was the Son of Man, though, not God. If you want to get technical we are all Children of God, he created each of us. He is a big deal because the people that hate him were told of his coming for a long time. The people he interacted with during his experience called themselves Gods and even had it written in their Law that they were Gods. (I dunno who is crazier in this picture!)
Christ also didn't establish religion but ended it for any that would listen. Religion is unnecessary and only serves as a division tactic. He moved the man made temple into the God made temple, the human heart. (though I suspect it was always there and we were just lied to FO MONEY!!!!)
I feel like you know what I mean, about how (and maybe it's my comprehension that's at fault here) basically God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are like the same entity in a way. And that it was an immaculate conception.
I also feel like things like that can be predicted and maybe that is why people talked about a savior coming.
I just try to be on the safe side because I want to go to heaven. And God said not to worship anyone else. And really it's like Jesus has surpassed God in the minds of many people. I mean the cross is everywhere from churches to the skin of believers and he even has his own catchphrase.
I understand this. Jesus has been hoisted above the Father which was not the intention. Jesus never took glory, he always gave it to the Father.
Even the prayer that Jesus gave us to use mentions the Father directly, and not Jesus. Jesus said when we ask for anything from the Father that if we ask in the Name of Christ to the Father it would be given.
This isn't the worst case scenario, I do not think. If Jesus is God in the Flesh then it isn't incorrect in most cases, however I do not think that Jesus intended that we worship "Jesus" because he was a "man" but to worship the Father above always!

Jesus Christ is The Son of God. If you don't have that much figured out I'm out of this convo.
No one said he wasn't, HOWEVER!!! He called himself Son of Man. Come on!
